Infloit Support

Infloit is an ambient flocking simulation for Apple Vision Pro: a flock of birds that wheels, splits and re-forms around you. There is nothing to set up and nothing to manage — press Start and watch.

Requirements

Getting Started

  1. Open Infloit. A single control panel appears.
  2. Press Start. The flock fills your room. visionOS asks whether Infloit may use hand tracking — allow it if you would like the birds to react to your hands.
  3. Pick a Mood and a Palette from the panel at any time; the flock changes while it flies.
  4. Here keeps the flock in your room. There takes you to a night meadow; turn the Digital Crown to set how far the meadow wraps around you.
  5. Press Stop, turn the Digital Crown, close the panel, or take the headset off to end the session. Start begins a new flock with the same settings.

Advanced

The Advanced button opens the tuning panel. Flock size runs from 200 to 5,000 birds, and Reset all at the top restores every default without stopping the flock. Its tabs:

Common Questions

The birds don’t react to my hands.
Hand tracking was declined or is not available. On your Vision Pro open Settings › Privacy & Security › Hand Structure & Movements, allow Infloit, then press Start again. Whenever hands are inert the panel says so under Flock size.

Room awareness says “Scanning…” for a long time.
The scan needs you to look around the room slowly so visionOS can see the surfaces; good light helps. The caption changes to “Room ready” with the verified volume once the flock has enough to fly around.

The flock stopped when I turned the Digital Crown or took the headset off.
That is expected — both end the session. Press Start to begin again.

It feels like a lot of motion.
Infloit follows the system Reduce Motion setting (Settings › Accessibility › Motion): it chooses the calmest mood, turns tails off, caps the tempo and stills the meadow grass. Lowering Tempo and Flock size in Advanced calms things further. The app never moves your viewpoint — only the birds move.

The flock stutters at very large sizes.
Thousands of birds with tails is the most demanding setting. Lower Flock size or switch tails off.
